Snowpocalypse. Snowmageddon. Snowzilla. Snowcouver.
Call it whatever you want, it just won’t stop snowing. The snow came down fast, furious and has lasted a good number of weeks. We’ve had a fresh dump every few days. Sean keeps shovelling the snow to the side and creating waist-high snowbanks. We’ve used our cars a total of 3 times in the past few weeks, in between snow days and after Sean shovelled us out.
I’m working from home more (which is never a bad thing). And I hope that neighbourhood strays have found somewhere warm and dry to bed down.
And still no end in sight. Since we live up in the higher elevation, we’ve gotten more snow than Vancouver proper. And since we’re away from the water, the snow hasn’t been melting. At all.
We’ll see everyone in the spring.
