Hello!

My name is Ling. I live in beautiful Vancouver (born + bred!) with my fella and our three fur babies.

This is my personal blog, which has been going strong since 2008.

In this little corner of the digital universe, I share snapshots of our daily lives, geek out on movies, music and adventures, and post things that I’m passionate about.

Like travelling!

I live to travel and try to go someplace new at least once a year. Live. Travel. Blog. Repeat. Seeking adventure and seeing as much of the world as I can is my raison d’être. And whenever the wanderlust hits, I must heed its call.

I think what differentiates me from other travel bloggers is that I love seeking out the different + nerdy side of travelling. It’s not just all-star, big time attractions like the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, or Great Wall of China.

I find joy in seeing the Yoda Fountain, trying out the Ghostbusters VR installation, being a part of the Ferris Bueller’s 30th anniversary weekend, running around in the dark at Sleep No More, scoring a ticket to the sold out Harry Potter + the Cursed Child play prior to opening night in London’s West End, or role-playing with thousands at Secret Cinema’s Empire Strikes Back movie event. (I hope the geek in me inspires the geek in you!)

Here are a few more random facts about me:

• Milestones I’m proud of: Pescetarian since 2006. Smoke free since 1998. Blogging since 2008.
• I’m a space nut + love science fiction movies.
• The farthest I’ve traveled for a concert is to Vienna, Austria for Interpol.
• Write with my left hand, but do everything else with my right. Sports related, I’m regular, not goofy.
• Cream tea over high tea. And clotted cream before the jam.
• Nine times out of ten, I’ll choose the fruity dessert before the chocolate one.
• I love watching breakdancing battles.
• Aquarian sun. Sagittarius moon. Metal Pig. INFP.
