Imagine the world’s best street artists coming together in one place to create the city of their dreams…

Street art comes alive in Munich in the form of the Magic City – The Art of the Street exhibition at the Kleine Olympiahalle at Olympiapark! This exhibition was awesome.

Carlo McCormick and Ethel Seno, two of the best urban art experts in the world, gathered 66 artists from five continents and 20 countries to create this unique and stunning art project, an urban museum of the imagination. Except for a few pieces, all the 3D illusions, graffiti, sculptures, murals and multimedia installations displayed were especially created for this exhibition – and they are amazing.

Some highlights – anamorphic art, a form of optical illusion:

I seriously could’ve stayed here all afternoon. There was just so much to see, discover and play around with. But as entertaining as Magic City was, it was also good to see its art raising questions on topics like politics, racism, gender quality, and global warming.

This massive and dazzling exhibit runs until September 3 and will then travel to its next stop, Stockholm, from November 1 to February 24, 2018. If you dig on street art, this exhibit is a must-see!
