Sean has his top 3. I have my top 3, and teamLab Borderless located out at Odaiba was the #1 thing I wanted to do in Japan. Odaiba Island is Tokyo’s waterfront city, a man made island (which used to be a landfill!) chock a block with an artificial beach, high-tech buildings, exhibition sites, amusement centres, restaurants, museums, malls, parks, hot spring resort and a great big ferris wheel. Did I mention there was also a replica of the Statue of Liberty too?

First official day in Tokyo! So much to see and do – where do we even start?
Since we were staying in the Akasaka district and were in close proximity to Hie Shrine (or Hie Jinja) we began our day there.

Japan for 10!
When we were in Hawaii celebrating nine years together, it took but a hot minute to decide where we’d like to go for our 10 year anniversary.
Japan! It’s a place that Sean and I have always dreamed of going. We’re both into Japanese culture, food, style, anime and manga scene. And what better occasion than our big milestone together?
Time flies and I forget all about posting pics of our furry children! I blame school and work and school and snow and school and…
So last we left off, Luna absolutely had no chill around Charlie. But it’s so hard to resist Luna because she’s so dang cute.
Billy Idol + Steve Stevens: Turned On, Tuned In + Unplugged Tour Kicks Off in Vancouver
As a child of the 80s, you can’t not be a fan of Billy Idol. (that sneer!) He had a plethora of chart topping hits. So many hits. My favourites were Catch My Fall, Cradle of Love, LA Woman, and Sweet Sixteen.
And in my decades long of attending concerts, I never got to catch a Billy Idol performance, until his kick off tour in Vancouver with long-time guitarist Steve Stevens. I was hella excited that I scored a ticket to the concert.
