For Sean’s birthday, we were planning on going to spend the day at the Greater Vancouver Zoo. Unfortunately the forecast called for rain and that does not jive with our video and camera equipment. However, we still got our animal fix by heading to Southlands.
We came across the same donkey we befriended last September. And as I took a succession of shots of Sean and the midget donkey, a pictorial story emerged.

Gasp! And then, the horse did WHAT?!?
I think it’s safe to say the midget donkey remembered us. He’s such a little cut-up. The picture of him pulling his mr ed face is just priceless. This may have even turned out better than a visit to the zoo that day.
