Exactly one year ago, we adopted our little peanut. My spidey senses had been tingling and I suddenly felt the urge to go to the SPCA. Walking into the shelter, I kept reminding myself to remain non-committal. I said to Sean, “We’re just having a look. Doesn’t mean we have to adopt a kitty today.”
And then we came upon this little face and it was all over for me. It was love at first sight.
One year ago.
Today.
Every cat is unique and has their own personality, but I seriously believe I lucked out with Charlie, because he is one of the most special cat I’ve ever encountered.
He’s a kitty who:
* Wakes me up several times most mornings to neck cuddle
* Enjoys lounges in spread’em, twist ’em yoga poses
* Drags his favourite stuffy all over the house
* Loves to hang out in the bathtub – just because
* Is so vocal and chatty that we have our own cat-onese language
I still can’t believe that I get to be the human for this little furry face. I’m so glad he came into our lives.
