It’s only a couple of weeks until we move into our new place. I’ve been busy planning and organizing, as well as, paring down and donating things to charity. And throughout it all, I have been spending extra quality time with Charlie, for little does he know, there’ll soon be another kitty (and human) under his roof.
Charlie is such a little momma’s boy. He’s super affectionate, loves to cuddle, play (and bite) and follows me around the house. And did I also mention he shakes his little rabbit foot like thumper when he’s sleeping on his side? Adorable.
L: This is how Charlie likes to lounge on the floor.
R: This is his impression of a five legged cat.
That’s why I’m especially revelling in our “me + him” time right now. There’ll be not one, but 2 new and constant elements in Charlie’s life soon.
Changes are afoot:
1. It won’t just be me and him on the bed.
2. There’ll be way more space for him to run around, hide and be on his own.
3. Him and Jonesy might eventually hit it off so much, that he’ll won’t want me to play with him anymore.
As soon as I picked him up at the SPCA last September, I was a goner. Looking up at me with one eye closed and reaching up to touch my cheek with his paw, I was forever imprinted. He’s my little chuckles. I guess what I’m really hoping is that our bond remains unbroken and that we’ll still continue with our own little rituals. It’s hard to give up the neck cuddles.

Charlie is the best… you two are so cute.
I’m glad the kitties are getting along and that he still comes for neck cuddles. Adorable : )
morning neck cuddles are the best, especially when he falls asleep between the both of us.
