You never know just what you might come across when downtown. Like say, the filming of The Flash?!!
The sucky thing about my current job is the location of our office. It’s on the opposite side of downtown where there’s hardly any film action going on. The building at my last job saw a lot of filming right outside our doors and at nearby streets where The Flash, X-Files, iZombie and the cancelled Tomorrow People regularly shot. Quite a bit too. I miss walking by and spying on all the action.
But! I was going to lunch the other day and walked past Robson Square when I saw signs saying Central City, plus a coffee cart with CC Jitters emblazoned on it! Plus Christmas decorations in October.
You know I just had to STOP and take some pics.
I may have stopped by at lunch and after work…which by then drew more fans as the word got out. Um, I may have contributed to that a wee bit.
I was chatting with one of the film crew and they told me that filming was scheduled to start around 10pm or 11pm, and that they would be all wrapped and gone by 4am-ish – which unfortunately is too late for me. But it was still a kick to get a preview of what the Christmas episode was going to look like.

12/9 update: The Flash Christmas episode, Running to Stand Still aired last night with special guest Mark ‘Luke Skywalker’ Hamill as the Trickster. Yay for Hollywood North!
